Warm welcome and greetings in the morning, was always a great start! They got our table all prepared even thoughtful to get us a high chair for my toddler and they even helped us to get our driver when they saw we were ready to get going. The room was clean and the bed was huge! Great for my family to sleep with the toddler. The lawn was nicely decorated with grass so soft my toddler was willing to walk barefooted! The view was breathtaking from the lawn. |

| 很舒服的民宿。老板和家人都熱情與友善。房間很大也很清潔。這民宿每晚都有觀星解說，還有合歡山觀日出行程。唯一的缺點是地點比較偏遠。早點和晚飯都很美味。我一定會再回來。 |

My family and i stayed here for 3 nights. The Minsu is family owned and feels like a good motel. Our room room is basic but well decorated, with glow in the dark drawings of stars on the ceiling. The compound is beautiful with a great view of the valley. it is approx. 15min walk from Carton King, and about 30-40 min walk to CingJing Farm. Any further and you would have to call for a taxi or use the public transport. Simple Taiwan porridge breakfast is provided. Owners are friendly and helpful and will provide transport for you to the Farm every morning at about 9 AM. |

Stayed 2 nights in dec. weather was very cold but a heated blanket is provided. Good location - 5 min walk to eateries, 10-15 min walk to Swiss garden and Starbucks. 25 min walk to green green glass land. Owner was helpful and offered to picked us up from Starbucks when we arrived with our luggages via coach. Rooms are spacious with balcony overlooking the beautiful mountains. There's star gazing session daily at 9pm - lots of stars extremely beautiful and definitely worth going. The main problem is toilet seriously in need of upgrading! Dirty, mouldy, and there seems to be a constant bad smell, water pressure is pretty low too. |

We have stayed with Star Villa for two nights and we enjoyed our stay very much! The Villa is not located right next to main road but up onto the hill, so it takes around 5-10 mins walk to the nearest bus station (Cingjing Guest House). The hosts are friendly and they introduced the tourist spots in Cingjing to us. They even drove us and other visitors to Evergreen Grassland in the afternoon and suggested the best way to walk through it. We have booked a Superior Double Suite with Balcony View (Cancer) which is on 1st floor, the view is great - you can see the mountains from balcony. The room is not equiped with air temperature control, so you can only switch on the fan if you feel hot or electric blanket if you are cold. Provision of hot water has time limit (morning and night only), and it takes some time for hot water to be pumped, so better to let the water runs for 1 min before you step into the bathroom in winter time...Overall the room is simple but nice as this is family-owned business. We have tried both breakfast and dinner, breakfast is simple - toast, congee, egg, sausage...coffee made by the host is great. Dinner is a hotpot with pork and vegetable and it is quite good! |

y boyfriend and I stayed in this lovely villa in early December and booked through Agoda. The villa located high in the mountain. The view was great. It was a family-owed business. The hosts were friendly. They introduced lots of sightseeing spot to us. I recommended travellers join the local tour for sunrise and the stargazing activity run by the host. Both activities were excellent. We stayed in the largest room in the new block on the highest floor. I thought the room was too bigh and cold for me although there was electric blanket. I would recommend couples to choose the room on the highest floor on the new block was enough as you could enjoy the great view from the room but not too spacious. The breakfast provided was great. I loved the Taiwan traditional milk tea. It was sweet. However, the tea set provided was not as nice as breakfast. The host only offered biscuits and some kinds of drink but the taste was still good. I would recommend this villa to all travellers. |
| I stayed 1 night at star villa from 13 dec to 14 dec and the view simply was great. It has a outdoor dinning area where u will see mountains and clouds just beneath ur feet. the room was clean, with a balcony which had great view too. The hospitality i received was very nice. I think its probably run by a family as the stuff and all are its own family members. Their children were not shy with us and it was a great experience.You will have to walk a bit of a distance as the villa is located deep inside. The path was very stony and its very dark with literally not much lighting at night. had to use my phone's torch. The downside would be the hot shower. it has specific timings for hot water and its not good for me. Cingjing was super duper cold and showering in cold water is definitely not a good idea. As it was raining when i reach there, there was not constellation tour which the hotel provides daily at 9pm. other than that it was a great stay here. |
