2010年8月1日到2010年8月11日，我和老五天天從紐約動身到黃石地域和加州海岸線旅行。之後，他們倆回紐約，我就直接到上海。
全部行程，老五對黃石@!word!@地區比較失望@!word!@，季候紕謬，隨處是綠的，沒有顯示出黃石地貌的多樣性，也沒有看到雪山。他比擬愛好17MILE DRIVE，小鎮CAMEL和SOLVANG。
我沒有太多可遺憾的，黃石以前在6月份去過，看到了那時紛歧樣的風景。在Berkeley花了太多時光看同夥找飯鋪，沒有按籌劃在落山前拍到金門大橋，第二天再去的時刻，都是迷霧，很失望。那一帶的氣象，即就是8月，也得穿成上海11月的樣子，並且天天上午和下晝約4點今後，厚厚的雲層就象大蓋子一樣壓下來，海景變得混沌，什麽也看不到。到洛杉磯時，因為堵車，沒能進城，直接趕去Irvine和同夥吃晚飯了。有點遺憾。還有，懊悔去了Rancho Guadalupe Dunes Park，欠好看欠好玩。
還有，鹽湖城看鹽湖的Antelope Island State Park比估計的要美許多，尤其是夕照的時刻去。斯坦福大學也異常英俊，比伯克利這個公立黌舍美許多。一號公路邊有兩個小鎮，Carmel和Solvang，都很美，必定不要錯過，最好住一晚。
以下是籌劃行程，根本上照著這個實行了，有幾個處所，因為時光關系，並沒有玩那麽多處所，好比舊金山和SANTA BARBARA。

From the Hawk Hill parking lot, walk the trail up to the mountain. This only takes 5 minutes and you will get an even better view from up there. If you are staying until after sunset, bring a flashlight. Officially the park will be closed at this hour because of the lack of lighting. Get on the first concrete structure to the right of the trail for the best view and take your time to set up your tripod. Use a bubble scale since it is easy to set up slightly tilted with the bridge at this angle Battery Spencer

Point Lobos State Reserve: 3 miles south of Carmel Carmel By the Sea [San Carlos Borromeo de Carmelo Mission] Monterey: Fisherman's Wharf, Cannery Row Address: Cannery Row & Wave Streets, Monterey, CA 93940 Pacific Grove (sunset) Ocean View Bloulevard You can walk along the coast road from Cannery Row to Lovers Point, then further along to Pebble Beach The road begins at the Monterey Bay Aauarium and continues 2-3 miles around curving, rocky coastline until you reach Pebble Beach Asilomar State Beach Take Monterey/Highway 68 West from Salinas. Turn south on Highway 1 (approximately 15 miles). From Highway 1 take 68 West to Pacific Grove. Turn left on Sunset Drive in Pacific Grove. D9 From San Simeon – Solvang Hearst Castle 在線預訂門票很主要! http://www.hearstcastle.org/ 750 Hearst Castle Road, San Simeon, CA 93450 觀賞Elephant Seal海象的觀景區，稱為Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Rockery Nitt Witt Ridge at 881 Hillcrest Dr. Rancho Guadalupe Dunes Park 然後走101不走1號,快些,1號這段沒什麽悅目的 Solvang (Danmark Village) Santa Barbara Shoreline Park "Santa Barbara旅行State St是最主要的點，Downtown Santa Barbara逛街用餐的英俊街道，有Outdoor Mall室外購物中間Pa搜索引擎優化 Nuevo，另是建於1929的County Courthouse法院大廈，北美獨有Spanish Colonial Revival西班牙殖民中興作風極峰之作，塔樓可俯瞰市景、Santa Barbara Winery是座古老釀酒廠，State St上地標Granada Theater是小鎮裏最老劇院，今日是Santa Barbara Center of the Performing Arts聖塔芭芭拉表演藝術中間舉行藝術表演。
再順著Cabrillo Blvd往西左側有Shoreline Park，是觀賞Santa Barbara海岸最好的地位，絕壁邊綠油油的海岸公園看到城市、海岸線和沖浪的人，有時可能看到鯨魚，持續往西左轉Cliff Dr，順著Scenic Dr小指標進步有秀麗風景，經由Hope Ranch和小湖，然後回到101號公路。
